Dear Srs. and Brr., what an exiting topic to read. I think this is the way to meet on the square and to bring freemasonry to a better future. I completely agree, Bro:. Ingo -- I am totally over the moon with the immediate effects of this event; they are way, way beyond my wildest hopes and expectations. I feel privileged to have been part of it. With fraternal love, Cora

I experienced a serenity at the event at Hexagon House which I have long found lacking in many Regular Craft Meetings. I feel that this was due to the presence of the FEMALE Element which of course is missing in Malecraft Freemasonry. With women present the equation is balanced, both the Ying and Yang are in Harmony. Certainly eye opening and food for thought as far as I am concerned.

I think it was Andrew that I said this to: a single-sex environment just doesn't make any sense to me; I don't see where the balance would come from in such surroundings. Reading your post the 3 Supernals of the Tree of Life came to mind. Kether splits in two to form Chockmah and Binah; these two head the pillars of Strength and Beauty, and Kether heads the middle way, the pillar of Wisdom. In that manner, Balance is inherent in our ritual and our offices, and I am wondering now whether there is in our Lodges an unspoken rule on that account that RWM and WSW should be of opposite gender, as in our Lodge. Maybe there is, maybe there isn't; maybe it just happens naturally because of the sense of balance that is so deeply ingrained in our Lodges and ritual. I shall have to find out! With fraternal love, Cora

Dear Cora Heartiest of congratulations on what sounds a simply outstanding day. Forgive my tardiness in passing these sentiments on. We had a holiday weekend here (Queens Birthday Weekend Don't ask, don't know) and I have only just come across the thread. What a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved. It must have been nice to see the faces behind the names too. I think, like others who have posted, that this is the sort of thing that will take us all forward, steadily and surely. For the fellows... do you have a Lodge of Research who might be interested in reciprocating in similar manner by inviting LDH, or some of them, to attend as a "Research Project". Questions/Answers sort of thing. We did that here very successfully. Personally I would be happy in the first instance for UGLE to recognise LDH and allow visitation by their members, even if we could not visit back (like Eastern Star etc). I would be totally opposed to visiting rights to UGLE Lodges based on sex discrimination..... totally self defeating and nailing the coffin down for another hundred years. Its time to move forward, not sideways. Whistler - we had Rose last night and I noticed on the Founding Members list here in Adelaide that CWL was one of them. Made me sit up extra straight ;D Congratulations once again Cora to you and Lodge of Amen-Ra. WFG Maat

This is an interesting point! I will think about that, too.

Well, I have asked my RWM and it is as I thought -- there is no such thing as a rule that determines an alternation in gender among the Brethren in office. It's sheer coincidence that in Light of Amen-Ra the offices do appear to alternate -- although I still wonder about the alternation happening naturally.
S&F,
Cora

The Power is undifferentiated - perfectly balanced, Kether before it passes thru the Pillars? Or That which is behind Kether Itself?
No need for physical attractors/repellents....IMO
