Bingo!Somebody actually mentioned the Akashic Records! Oh, I'm home, I'm really home! [/i][/quote] OK Akashic Records is an Eastern Word How about Universal Consiousness How many religious legends refer to "he who knows everything, that has ever happend and everything will happen. Or those who think when they die they will be judged - where will the judge look to see the records to make the judgement... Seems to me to obvious

No, Akashic Records (as well as being the name of a record label - seriously) is a Western word cannibalised out of the Sanskrit akaša, the "astral light", a supposed fluidic ether upon which all things that have ever happened have been indelibly imprinted.
How about The Recording Angel?

" We are fortunate indeed that you do not aspire to be rational" Pots and kettles, I believe. However, I never set out to insult you personally, and if you feel I have done so, I do here and now apologise wholeheartedly. I won't make any more intrusions into this thread, I'm just repeating myself to no effect. Crossing swords is OK if the other person is up to your debating speed, but if he isn't enjoying it and feels he's under personal attack, it's best to stop. I'm approaching the edge of the carpet.

To me the "Akashic Record" is more akin to our body cells. these cells retain a "memory" of all that has passed. Some even suggest our "genes" in the form of DNA etc is all knowing from the memory stored therewithin over the many previous relatives we are seeded from. As I propose that we are all fragments of the entity we name GOD, it is only natural to acknowledge that we can tap into HIS cells/genes. QED I PUT THIS ON "SPIRITUAL FREEMASONRY" BUT IT LOOKS EQUALLY APPROPRIATE HERE.

It appears that our bones and teeth hold memories.
A month or 2 back there was a study in which people who had lost all their teeth had demonstrably worse memories.
So there may well be some dna aspects to memory as well
Cheers
