... in Danish, unfortunately. It's just a Squarespace template that I customized, but I'm quite pleased with the result: frimurer.squarespace.com/It will also have reviews of books and motives etc. relating to Freemasonry, plus articles on my own progression.

Ah GOOD! There is life here yet! I thought everyone had gone to a Meeting somewhere.
I understand that Blogs as they are called are easier to set up and run than Websites but can be fraught with difficulties such as attracting Trojans, Spywear etc.
Any of our Cybermasons care to comment?

I already run one Squarespace-site. After the trial you get text-only Google-ads in the sidebar (like the ones on this site) - that's the only "price". But with the other site I decided to pay for the cheapest subscription, and I probably will on this one as well.
Squarespace is a great alternative to Blogger - I had actually set this up with Blogger first: The benefit is no ads, but there is also only one page to put content into. I guess that's the real way to do a blog, but I wanted to store reviews and articles as well. Squarespace also has some nice features, such as track changes, links page, built-in mini-forum etc. Very nice for somebody like me who just wants to worry about content. Plus the templates are dynamic - customization is a much bigger hassle with Blogger.
As for bots/spyware ... I haven't had any problems yet. Maybe I've just been lucky but I've had blogs running since 2001.

Hi guys for your benefit I have now added an English section to my blog. Actually, the blog-part is still only in Danish, but the brief essays on my Masonic journey have been translated. Here's the About, and here's the actual Essays. Three chapters so far, and I'll get to the really interesting bits soon. The main purpose of this story is to offer a personal perspective on Masonry – we are so damn careful to remain objective, aloof and academic here in Denmark, but the most important Masonic input I have had so far has come from people I relate to (to some extent) on a personal level. The essays also serves as a diary of sorts. It's still early days, and I have deliberately kept the English pages out the navigation bar: gives you all a chance to point out factual mistakes and correct my English! (Email in my profile.) PS: The blog's title, 'I Kjole & Sort', doesn't translate very well, but it's something like 'Full Dress & Black', alluding to the description of the formal dress code for the Danish Order of Freemason: full dress tuxedo white tie and black vest. Like so (the top hat is only for Masters): (From tv-series: 'The Chronicle', 2004. Outside of Freemason's Hall, Copenhagen.) PPS: Roald Atle Furre is the webmaster of masons.start4all (big surprise). I wrote him about my site, but I have had no reply and it's not been added. So Roald, if you return: your link to start4all is noted (five times, actually) – but what are your own views on the Masonic topics discussed here? Hope to see you chip in.

The Statistics under (http://www.nedstatbasic.net) as I use on my links - have a look at the bottom line -the little blue statistics -there you can see the activity of Denmark on my link.
