I have just taken over management of the above Webring. So for those of you who have Lodge and Masonic related websites (importantly) [red]based in the UK[/red] I would ask you to submit them to the UK Mason Webring. This ring is only for UK specific, Masonic sites, so please don't submit your site unless it meets those criteria. The link is here: e.webring.com/hub?ring=ukmasonwebringAdding your site to a web ring can seriously increase its visibilty and hit rate. There is only one further stipulation, if you fit the criteria, you must insert code on your specified page url that can lead visitors back to the ring from your site so that other ring members can possibly benefit from the people looking at your site, in other words a reciprocal link. Here is how I did it on Mersey's site www.merseylodge5434.org/links.htm , however, be aware that the ring will link to the specific page you nominate and the code must appear on that same page for the application to pass.I have just taken over management of the above Webring, so e.webring.com/hub?ring=ukmasonwebringM

I saw it advertised for adoption and i dont think there were many willing to accept the responsibility. a bit too techy for me and i still dont understand theses rings that much. As you will see.. this board and the main site is already a member of this ring. So good luck and if you want any publicity in the links here etc then please feel free to do so. Staffs

Cool, well it's had its first new site added today (via the Forums) since I added Mersey so that's a good start.

Update: The ring is now called the British Isles Masonic Web Ring and is open to sites based within the British Isles, not just the UK. I am happy to report that the Ring's membership has now doubled but I know there are hundreds and hundreds of sites that could be included in the Ring.
Please if you have a site based in the British Isles which is about Masonry or a Lodge/Chapter/other group site please join in.You only have to include a Navigation bar on your site, it doesn't cost anything.
I would really love to make this a really comprehensive British Isles Masonic Web Ring.
