It has been rumored that the Rite of the Rose Cross of Gold (RRCG) is dead, but this is not true. We were in the process of trying to find a suitable building in which we could meet and perform rituals. Starting in October we will be sharing the new UGLA lodge facility in Atlanta. The new building was constructed specifically for Masonic purposes and will allow us to perform the rituals as they were intended. For those of you who have never heard of the RRCG it is an educational club that focuses on the esoteric and philosophical aspects of Freemasonry. It is not recognized by any Grand Lodge but has members from several recognized and non-recognized GL's. The RRCG was formed in 2000. For more information visit www.rrcg.org(NOTE: The RRCG is not a "recognized" Masonic body.) Jeff

I have to state that that is one extremely professionally made site, probably one of the best I have visited for ease of use and structure.
Good luck to you.

I see the building is in fact being built at the moment, and well under way from the photos. When things have progressed further please let us know as it would be nice to see it completed.

It is "recognized" in Georgia as being Clandestine...and membership in the RRCG will cause a Mason to lose his membership in his "recognized" lodge.

There is no need for Jeff to clarify anything, on this Forum we do not distinguish between Grand Lodges.
All members of Freemasonry belonging to Grand Lodges from any juristiction are free to post here without fear of favour. Whether this organisation is recognised as being regular by any other Grand Lodge is totally irrelevant to us.
Please refer to the Forum rules.
It is more than sufficient that Bro Jeff has posted (Note: The RRCG is not a "recognised" Masonic body) at the bottom of his post.

This forum was set up so that everyone, regardless of their affiliation, could express their views, the only criteria being that it is done in accordance with the forum's guidelines.

We're trying to create a warm, friendly and inviting place for all Freemasons to gather and discuss the Craft regardless of affiliation. We believe that recognition issues have caused nothing but pain and intolerance among people who would otherwise be friends. The RRCG is a place where all can work together in secrecy and safety. I know it must seem strange that Freemasons would need to work in secrecy in order to be safe from other Freemasons, but history has a funny way of repeating itself. Yesterday's Inquisitor is today's District Deputy. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

There is much unnecessary division within FM and - as I have said before - anything that helps to bring Masons together has to be a good thing, but unfortunately many divisions will continue to exist regardless of what efforts are made.
