My Lodge, Orient #51, has a web site at: www.orient51.comI set it up the year I was Master, and it was like pulling teeth. If one more elderly Brother told me we didn't need a web site, because we'd never had a web site, I was going to scream.

Welcome to the forum, I like the web site - and a nice new lodge as well.

The only rusty nail I can think of is the 30cm one in my left leg, the result of an RTA last June. I may even be back at work this march. ;D ;D ;D maybe

Ah, the old guard, a necessary evil I'm afraid - tho' they should loosen their grip a little!
Well done on the web site - and on 'encouraging' them to support you!

The "Rusty Nail" Degree is an informal presentation put on for a group of Brothers who have not been to Lodge for a LONG while and might be uncomfortable trying to remember the grips, words, etc., in a meeting.
It refreshes their memories of these things so they can feel comfortable attending Lodge again and know what to do.
I have never been to one, but I understand they're put on in quite a light-hearted manner.

Thanks KansasPM, Is there anything written down, or is it 'off the cuff' type of presentation? I have never heard of it befor, I just thought Lee was picking on me

Brother Michael-
No, I understand that it is written down, not off the cuff. If I can get a copy of the ceremony, I could email it to you. I'll check with our Wardens and see if they have it.
