This present colour scheme is a good compromise, I can now read everything with no PAIN. Thanx for the adjustment.

Leo, you sure guests can post? I've logged out and tried to post as guest and couldn't.
Glad the text colour change has worked out ok for most, I think we can leave things as they are for now - unless someone really thinks differently.

Well the colour scheme they have in the forum support would be the ideal scenario if we can achieve that then that would be great.

They do have a very good colour scheme on the pro-board support site, but blue seems to be more appropriate for this forum.
MHO only, of course.

the censor is based on american english - bollocks isn't a word used much accross the pond. "American English" doesn't exist! It's an invention of Microsoft. FWIW, I read recently that "bollocks" isn't actually a swear word. It's used as an expletive, but its commonly-thought relation to male genitalia is in fact a myth. It's more like the sugar-coated expletives that the Americans are fond of using, like "gosh darn it".

Great job on the colour alteration, peebles. ;D Staffs, I don't know what colour mechanism ProBoards uses, but if it's just plain HTML colouring, then you should be able to feed it the hex RGB values ("#0000ff" for Blue, "#ff00ff" for Purple, etc) or their names ("white", "green", etc). Here's some more information on HTML colouring.

"Peebles" is my way of saying "people". Like "prolly" means "probably", etc. Staffs, I'll pass up on the offer to play about with the colours. It ain't broke so don't fix it. Unless the majority want it, of course. Middlepillar, Didn't you ever do photography? Ok, so that's cyan/yellow/magenta (instead of red/green/blue), but the principle's the same.

Yes I did take photograpyhy, but believe me those colours are not used in Blck & White ;D ;D haha, I much prefer B&W, too: feel rather than realism. And far easier to do at home.

I've removed the censoring of most words from my own (non-mason related) board. I don't like being censored on my own board ;D The only words which are still censored are racist ones.

Good point Temple.
I'll have a chat with Lee and sort something out with that.

I was just sharing info regarding how I run my own board. Please don't think I would presume to tell you how to run yours.
I will share this also though... my baord allows me to create several templates so the user has a choice of different colours. Having said that, I have loads of other problems with it so wouldn't recommend that particular software (Eblah).
