1. Is it possible to just have the 'new' threads show when we log in. i ask because I know this forum is going to be big in both senses of the word and i am wondering if we are going to have to go page by page to check out the new posts. (I know it's not a problem yet ....)
2. Age and time has caught up with me - I've forgotten it!!!
A day late but I've remembered. Is there anyway to mass mark threads as read? That would be nice.

I believe Sensei you have to mark each one as read individually.Sorry.Unless someone knows different

You CAN mass-mark threads as marked
if you are in the "general" thread for example....and you click the "mark as read" button (hard to read, on the top neon green bar), then all the "new" threads from that section are marked as read.

Stash.
Well done. It's because of the ever changing face of the forum from one thread to another topic to another page etc that made me miss it.
Cheers.

I'd like to see a 'Since your last visit' option too, if it's possible. TLR and MoM have a feature like that and it is great for a quick glance at whats new

I'd like to see a 'Since your last visit' option too, if it's possible. TLR and MoM have a feature like that and it is great for a quick glance at whats new and TFM too!! I find this feature extremely useful when visiting fora. At an instant you can see which threads need browsing through. Any chance boss (please, pretty please etc etc)? If that's not possible, could someone tell me if marking everything read on my departure from the site will have basically the same effect?

This is what I do....
1.I usually always haev a window open with the main forums-list open, and i just press reload all the time, and when i see one of those little grey dots turn blue, that means there's posts in there. So i'll go chek it out, turning the dot grey again, i find this system very effective, especially since when you go to a specific section, you can use the mark-all-read button to further clean it up if you're too lazy to actually read those topics

I think an automatic refresh would be good.
As i posted previous that this board will be upgraded by the hosts to their newest version which they hope will happen before the end of the year,There will be many new features so we can see than if what is on our wish lists happens

As someone who has an interest in these things (sad, or wot?) I too am looking forward to some extra features. An automatic refresh yoke (thingy) would be most useful but I do not believe we've advanced to that stage yet - but I dearly hope I'm wrong.

Some of you have probably thought there was a problem with theresolution colours of your monitor a little while ago but i was playing with colours which i have been wanting to do for a long time.
They can be altered to suit your requirements and guess what that hrrible neon green has gone.
Tell me if you like it and what colours you think maybe preferable to the new ones/Thanks Lee
Steve will wonder what the hell has happened when he gets back from Scotland.
Ah well# when the cats away........

Please advise how I can adjust the colours to suit my reading ability, as the present Blue is far too dark on my screen. Generally I prefer the white as I read that very easily.
I do however appreciate your efforts in making this an interesting site.
Cheers Hubert.
