If you ar eputting hidden links in posts as leo has learnt how to do can you change the colour of the text for that link if done this way as i think there are a lot of links that are being missed.
Any other thoughts ?

Good point Lee.
When I put in these links they come out as yellow on my PC. I would hope it comes out the same for others. But this may not be the case and I do not know how to change the colour.
Another thing is this yellow is fairly light and may not show up too well on some PC's

This is a problem I noticed with the new/revised colour scheme. HTML's BODY tag has a LINK attribute that sets the colour of a link you haven't visited before (defaults to blue) and VLINK for links you have visited (defaults to purple).
The LINK attribute should be set to something that doesn't clash horribly with this forum's blue background. How about yellow or orange? And I'd suggest the VLINK attribute be set to the forums default text colour (white), or an equally non-garish colour.
Another option that may be there is for links to appear underlined (e.g.: new link, visited link). Web browsers allow you to disable this feature (regardless of the website's setting), but most people leave this at its default.

Sorry, I simply do not see the point of all this palaver. It may look pretty but I prefer to stick to the good old tried and trusted way of cutting and pasting the url of a website such as this example www.centralregalia.com/flash.shtmstraight away one can see that it IS a link and either click on it or cut and paste it for oneself to put in one's Favourites or Bookmarks, so I'll be sticking to this simple and straightforward way of posting links. To me its like the mousetrap. Yes one can add sensors, servomotors, control electronics, but why bother when a simple pivoted baited platform and a spring-loaded bar works perfectly well and is easily used by all?

Erm - have taken the liberty of changing the colour of links to the lime green that we all knew and loved from the original days of the forum.
I welcome comments - hope you don't mind me doing this lee
