Hi Bod, Your not the only one. I do the exact same thing, reason is that I've had my original MM's apron for approx 15 years and it still looks as good as new. I keep all my regalia in plastic bags/pockets for the tassels, in their cases, even my KT/KM hats, KT belt and frog, KT poinard, etc. My wife even put a little bar of smelly soap in my KT case to stop the mustyness starting. When your paying up to £70.00 for a dress apron it pays to look after it.

I know that I keep threatening this, but one day I may actually do it, to test the will of the tyler (must pick Taylorsmans lodge). Anyway, I will be the one banging on the door, pleading "let me in" as I dodge the tylers thrusts and cuts. So if an unexpected knock comes, you never know, it could be me..... Have a great night. I will be thinking about you (as I am carried away to A&E).

Having seen the size of Stewart and knowing well that he has a black belt in the Martial Arts I wouldn't want to keep him off even with a drawn sword. Instead I would politely suggest that he went down to the bar and I'd buy him a drink or several. Anyway, a man who likes Cats has to be good even if he does like to wind me up on this Forum!

Wind up me? Anyway it is a brown belt. You needn't fear though Steve, I respect Freemasonry far too much to pull that one, in fact I would probably help you guard the door if the need arose. Staffs, in all seriousness, given your proactive stance to taking freemasonry forward into the 21st century, I really do wish that I could attend your raising. It would be an honour (and those are not mere words). But it is not to be, but I will be thinking about you.

Stewart,Thank you for your support and i appreciate your very kind words.
I too gained the grade of Brown Belt in Wadryu style but unfortunately my knees had to give it up.
All that kneeling at work and earlier years playing football have taken their toll and another reason i unable to do aerobics or circuit training .

Lee, to confirm that I will see you, God Willing about 4.15pm at Queens Road (in the bar), but it will be myself only, as Neil Pritchard can't make it unfortunately, (see my e-mail to you of yesterday Tuesday)
Looking forward to it.
Steve

Depending on travelling arrangements I hope to hit the bar at 4.15 as well! I am sure it will be a great day (especially for the new Master Mason )

Andrew, you still have not told me what you want to drink in th bar so i can pre order the drinks for after the ceremony to avoid the rush to the bar ?
Not sleeping too well now as so excited (not nervous).
I am absoloutely overwhelmed with the support from Forum members and even more amazing that some of you i have not yet met.astounding what freemasonry can do.
Hope you all raised a glass to Kieran at 9 pm. ?
he is going into OSM tonight.

Ooh don't worry Staffs... As I will be driving that night back to wales I won't be drinking much. Any beer will do...
MP I am still trying to decide what to do. Drive or take the train? I better drive and hope that I will make it through the M25 in time.I have to dodge the M4,M25,M23 in Friday's rush hour.
I will call you tomorrow to make arrangements...

If you are driving there is a car park across the road and no doubt Chris knows where there is.
i would let the train take the strain myself

Thanks for that Lee - last night was superb - will talk in more detail if we get the chance on Friday. I contemplated driving on Friday, however, given that it is POETS day (pee off early tomorrow's saturday - POETS...sorry) I know from bitter experience that the M25 grinds to a halt from about 2pm.....so train for me. Even more so now that I'm working Saturday.. Anyone else going by train from London?

MP, Kieran and all concerned,
I have been given info by people who advised me strongly on NOT using a car to get to Brighton on Friday PM. Unfortunately I just came back from annual leave which means that I cannot get an annual leave day on Friday.
The earliest I could be leaving will be 1430 on Friday so anyone wanting to catch up in Victoria before hand for a Brighton train please email me.
MP we could catch up with you in E.C as you suggested. Please PM with time details.
Anyone know the latest train times back from Brighton to Victoria?

This is all very exciting and somewhat emotional. Lee I know you will have a wonderful time and it's such a shame I can not be there to share the experience. But I wish you all the joy such a day will bring and lookforward to hearing (within reason) how things went. Bod, congratulations

Bro Lee, I won't be able to make it either, but I'll be thinking of you. Have a great meeting, and enjoy it. And please pass my best regards on to the Brighton Posse (not the one in the construction worker's costume though...he scares me)
