Hi Bod, Looks like it, or I could always check out the tourist sights Big Ben, Buck Palace, Nelson's Column, Stringfellows!!!!!
That said if anyone knows of any other orders sitting and could get me an invite it would save me sending e-mails to various bodies. I won't be visiting a Preceptory however as I can't be bothered to hump all that regalia down with me, as I am going by bus/train.

Well, the time is near for me to travel to London. Travelling by bus on Wed night (28th Sept), arrive in London at 7am Thurs morning. If anyone is free for a pint just let me know, I'm staying nr Russell Sq. I've already got a couple of meetings arranged and a request for a supply of haggis.

Had a great time in the "Big Smoke". Done the touristy bits on the Thursday and then visited the Temple Church on Friday where there was a talk by the Master of the Temple on the "Da Vinci Code". A very interesting day. On Saturday I met up with Julian at Mark Mason's Hall for my first English Cryptic Council meeting. Another interesting meeting with myself watching the MEM degree for the first time. Something that we don't do in Scotland. After that it was of for a light liquid lunch with Julian before heading of to Kirby Lodge No 2818, to meet up with Tony for their meeting. Kirby lodge held their Annual Installation which again was another first for me. It is surprising who you meet up with and I had the pleasure of meeting a brother who I have traded with on several occasions on E-Bay. Another interesting and enjoyable experience at the Festive board and I'm still trying to get around the "point, left, right" bit All in all an excellent trip with the most pleasurable ,and many thanks to the company of Tony, Julian, Andrew and others that I met. Perhaps one day I can return the compliment.
