Brn, A number of you have expressed interest in attending, and others who haven't are still welcome (providing you're eligible, etc), so this here posting serves as the announcement... This humble Fellow of the Craft has the pleasure of announcing that his own Raising is to take place on Monday 26th September 2005 at the London Masonic Centre in Clerkenwell Green, London, EC1R 0NA. ;D If you would like to attend, please let me know and I'll arrange for a summons to be posted to you. I would recommend you get back to me by 31 August, as my lodge secretary will need to ensure there's enough summonses printed, and by 15th September at the latest so that the Centre's catering (for those who wish to dine) can prepare. The lodge Tyles at 16:45. Dinner is at 19:30. Dress is dark morning dress (typically a dark business suit), a black (or UGLE, etc) tie, black shoes, white shirt and gloves.

Bro Matt, not having been able to attend your Initiation I will try my best to attend your Third at CLMC and see if I can keep a days leave to do so as I am due to be on Late Shift that week. I will firm up on this nearer the time and will, of course, be wearing a BLACK Tie.

Hi all, Ok time to confirm numbers. Who's coming to this? Drop me an email now (if not sooner ) so that I can sort out the catering and have a summons sent to you.

Matt
I will try to make it but I have asked the others at LRUK if they would like to come along and meet you, I am waiting for a reponse.
Dont worry about summonses if we take some time to sort it out.

Steve, one of the party has an interview at bank as he has applied for the Freedom of the City of London (Load of bollocks if you ask me) so he is going off at about 12pm and we are going to meet him later. Another member of our party is taking the opportunity to do the GL tour which i dont mind doing again in any case.
I would be delighted to meet up with you during the day at any time you wish . Let me know what your itinerary for the day is and we can sort something out.
Without hijacking Matts thread any further please e mail or PM me accordingly with details and suggestions.
i know that the meeting is at Clerkenwell which will be a new one for me and i guess we will play it by ear on the day and probably get a cab over that way as and when.

Matt,
Sorry I can't be there (various reasons explained on LRUK) but I trust you will enjoy every minute of your Raising tonight.

Just got back to RDG. Lovely night, nice friendly Lodge, see I CAN enjoy myself at an Emulation Lodge!
Yes, Matt is a man of great substance as I am myself and I think the Wardens must have "Ate up their Spinach"
Nice to meet up with Bod and the Brighthelmstone Boys.
