Brethren All
It is with some trepidation that I must report that the brethren of my lodge last night elected me as Master Elect for the ensuing year.
My Installation will take place at the Masonic Hall in Caerphilly on Thursday 24 November 2005 at 4:30 p.m.
If any duly qualified forumite would care to attend I would be only too pleased to see you there – dining fees have not yet been finalised but are unlikely to exceed £15 including wine

Congratulations, Wayne!
I assume that you have been elected in a Superior Chamber, not in the Craft. Forgive my ignorance of your Rite system. I must read something: any suggestions?

So, if I have understood, Wayne has been elected but not yet installed. Right?

Well - just over a week to go
A strange mixture of excitement and apprehension
Does everyone feel like this just before going into the Chair?

Apologies for the delay in letting you know how it went but took some time out to spend time with She Who Must Be Obeyed and get the Christmas shopping done.
What a fantastic night - absolutely wonderful ceremony. The Installing Master had sweated blood getting it right and did a great job.
Brillian support from everyone - about a dozen ruling masters from the local area there to support me and when I got to the FB I found that my wife had left a present for me on my placemat - a beautiful set of miniature WTs and a pen engraved with the lodge name/number and the date. Wonderful keepsakes to remind me of a day I'll never forget

Definitely - went down well (as did the teas, coffees and cakes she prepared and served to the brethren as they arrived - and for the EAs, FCs and MMs when they came out at half-time)
