For those who are unaware, Emanation Lodge 5232 has its 75th birthday at our next meeting on Monday 28 November. The evening will be interesting as it will be our Installation, attended by our Metropolitan Grand Lodge group leader, hopefully a brief history of the lodge and special menu. All of the guests of my recent Raising have already been verbally invited (but please confirm!), but I would like to extend that to all regular Freemasons (particularly Past Masters) - which means many of you lot. If you would like to attend, we meet at the London Masonic Centre in Clerkenwell Green ( map). Please drop me a PM or email if you would like to come. We will Tyle at 16:45 with dinner at 19:30. Dress is dark morning dress (typically a dark business suit), a black (or UGLE, Provincial, etc) tie, black shoes, white shirt and white gloves.

Ok, gentlemen... now is the time to let me know whether you'd like to attend this meeting. All the time/location details are above. The meal is £20 for visitors (well under its actual cost) and is based as closely as possible on the meal at the lodge's Consecration in 1930. No sorbet between the fish and main courses, though. If you're interested, please let me know NOW as the deadline is upon us. PM, IM, email, mobile, etc.

Just a quick note to Mike H...
I've responded to your email, but I have notorious problems sending to AOL (why does everyone have AOL all of a sudden??) and I don't know your forum nick - so be aware that I have responded. If you receive nothing by tomorrow (err... Wednesday), please let me know.

Matt
I am coming, at least I am happy to take a chance and say I will be there, if I do have a problem I will mail you the cost of the meal, I was in the Chair of my Lodge when it was 75 years and we did not celebrate it very well, (1994!) so I would be delighted to join in your Lodges celebrations. I will try to be in the bar by 4.00pm

Up the Ammers! West Ham are 1 goal up so I hope they can hold on to their lead or even get another one in the bag early on the second half! Well, that was not to be, Man U got 2 goals early in the second half so the result as WH 1, Man U 2. Pity!

I shall have to give my dad some stick about the result. A Camberwell boy, albeit now living in Oz, he loves West Ham with a passion. Poor bugger.

Poor Kieran. It's not vanity - his missus makes him do it. Many thanks to all of you who attended - you made it a fantastic night. I was most pleased that the chairman of our MetGL group was the one who presented my MM certificate (his presence and his accompanying Steward/DC really set the scene), and I was even more chuffed when the WM handed me a collar with swords in saltire. ;D Nice to finally meet you Proton and middlepillar. It's a shame about the seating arrangements - we don't usually have set places, so it didn't occur to me to even mention it to the secretary. D'oh! At least the meal was first class... Lee - I'll let you know when and where my Advancement will be. All suitably qualified forumites will, of course, be invited. For those of you who weren't able to get a copy of the summons last night and wanted one - please drop me a PM or email.
