I may be out of line posting here, but thought it was wonderful when I saw it. This is happening in the City where I live and work. Moderators, I totally understand if you remove this. I Looked at my 'Smoke & Fire' that came today. It's a monthly publication of articles and event listings for Living History Reenactors and such. There is an interesting notice in there; June 21; Celebrating 200 years of Freemasonry in Ohio. Location Columbus, OH There will be a grand parade and are inviting reenactors to participate in period costumes. A visit to the Ohio Village is also planned. contact; Mike Duhamel mikeanddanid (at) verizon (dot) net by June 1st. I searched for more; With the parade, there is planned a Statehouse Cornerstone rededication. main information; bicentennial.freemason.com/html/june21.phpalso others; www.freemason.com/ Ohio GL district17masons.org/district17masons.org/bicentennial_calendar.doc

Yes, you are just a tad far just for a day. I'm heavily involved in living history. I know what my friends from Finland, England, Beljum and NewZeland go through to come to some of our events.
I'd like to see a large turnout for that. Columbus is the capital of the state. Just the idea of honoring the history of the state and rededicating the stathouse is...is...just right.
I love the painting they had commissioned for the event. They are selling copies of it both signed and unsigned by the artist. Great idea on that traveling lantern too.
