Hey, I figured I'd start a thread so that if you run accross any masonic references when watchin' TV/movies, playing video games, listening to music, etc, etc
My entry: I was playing "Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault" video game and during the opening sequence when a higher-up is giving you a tour of a naval base, he is describing the general in charge, and is describing him as a stern and scary type but then says "oh, but don't worry, he's on the level"

Now that you mention it the phrase on the level is quite a common one . I have never associated it with Masonry before but offcourse that is its origin.

Noticed another possible one in another computer game today. The game is "half life 2" and the context is that you're talking to some foreign guy, it was difficult to tell what nationality exactly, helps you out and nurses you back to health after a fiasco then right as he's sending you on your way, his last line of advice is "...and follow the illumination of that great light of lights"

You would think that they had more pressing things to worry about in the Ukraine at the moment wouldn't you?

Too true Bod.
Makes one wonder, doesn't it?. Politics is not my strength, not my forte, so to speak. But it does appear as though they have their priorities mixed up. One would have imagined with all recent stories about vote rigging, and their increasing economic problems, not to mention having the likes of Russia breathing down their throats, etc. that the persecution of Freemasons should be considered so seriously.
The world is clearly going quite crazy.
