Leo ,it amazes me were you find all these things Me too, Lee. Me too What is truly genuinely amazing, and in some respects kind of wonderful, depending on your perspective on these things - is the amount of people in the West, naturally I include here the United States of America, Canada Australia and New Zealand, etc. who are quite prepared to sponsor such individuals. We are all immediately familiar with the sponsorship of an animal or some child in one of the developing countries. But who would have ever thought in their wildest dreams that you could possibly sponsor a Buddhist monk!? I wonder if there is anyone willing to sponsor a poor misfortunate, downtrodden Irish man? ;D ;D ;D The above comment is not intended to be offensive in anyway, shape or form, towards members of the Buddhist community. It's just me being a bit silly towards myself ;D

Chris I don't know about being tax deductable but, in answer to the first part of your question, you'd get more than you bargained for ;D ;D
