"Filming The Da Vinci Code in Scotland would add to the growing tourism income the book has generated. At Rosslyn Chapel last week, tourists said that visiting the site had been a key part of their trip." Da Vinci Code: Scotland

Hi Leo, I certainly don't mind Scotland getting a boost in tourist trade however I do hope that people keep their feet on the ground regarding this subject.

Hi Tom,
I know exactly were you're coming from and agree entirely in that respect.
Initially, when I first read to the book, The Da Vinci Code, I was pretty clueless when it came to certain things described within. I have a bit more understanding now and believe that, although, some aspects of the book may well be true and fairly accurate, other parts are definitely exaggerated to some degree - perhaps even completely fabricated, in other respects.
Having said all that, however, I do genuinely believe that it is a thoroughly good read and would have little hesitation in recommending it as such.

I popped up to Rosslyn a couple of months back, a visit long overdue. Asking a taxi driver if he'd take us to Rosslyn, he said "Oh, read the book then have you?"...he was well chuffed, never had so many trips out there...at 15 quid a go...

15 quid. Not a bad job this taxi business. Ajent J. Speaking of Roslyn. Tell us please your impressions of the place. Perhaps starting another thread. Thanks in advance.

Just finished the book, a good read, with just enough truth to make you wonder...

Indeed, Mick, it does make you wonder. To many it's a great yarn, and for the most part that's what it is, but there is still enough there to make one ask a few questions. imo.

If you have not already, try Knight and Lomas, some of their conclusions are a bit far fetched without better data but a good read
