Over Christmas I was a bit silly and went off my diet. I weighed myself this morning and I was horrified to notice that I had put on a stone (14 pounds) in weight. So today, under threat of violence from my wife, I started back on a sensible eating plan again but I'm already under severe pressure to jack it all in. I will, however, persevere to the best of my ability. Even though I know it is extremely important that I maintain a sensible eating plan, I absolutely detest having to restrict the amount I actually consume. My gripe is I hate restrictive diets

Dear leonardo Although not a Mason yourself, let me reveal to you that the secret of the 3rd degree is that we all die one day.
So at least let's die happy, and with our stomachs full-filled!

Over Christmas I was a bit silly and went off my diet. I weighed myself this morning and I was horrified to notice that I had put on a stone (14 pounds) in weight. I have a simple solution to this age old problem. Don't weigh youself As a result I never have any problems with my weight, and have no stress associated with any failure on my part to conform to societies norms etc etc ;D

TrinityMan. Ah, the beauty of the simplistic attitude. If only life were such. And anyway, this particular thread is about what p***d someone off and not about making me smile, as many of these comments undoubtedly do. On this very point there is little doubt in my mind that if I had allowed my weight to continue climbing upwards, my weighing scales would cease to operate ;D ;D.

Another Gripe. I bought a pool table over the Christmas for the kids room. Seem as though my wife and I spend as much time on it as they do. Problem is, however, she, and the kids are starting to beat me! Is there nothing fair in this world
