" May the blessings of heaven rest upon us and all regular masons. May brotherly love prevail, and every moral and social virtue, cement us!As our ashlars become perfect we will not need cement indeed a keystone will be fine - which makes me wonder what gender the stone beside us will have been

As our ashlars become perfect we will not need cement indeed a keystone will be fine - which makes me wonder what gender the stone beside us will have been Psalm 144:12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace.N.B. 1, the word translated here in the KJV as 'palace', is in other verses usually translated as 'temple.' N.B. 2, 'cornerstone' has better biblical antecedents than does 'keystone.'

In fact any builder will tell you the cement does not stick bricks together, it is there to keep them apart.

When we return to whence we came - we become "one" with the creator - no need for cement, and our pure intent ensures we fit perfectly as one in all dimensions - The more you think about it there will be no Christians,Malecraft, Moslems, Co-masons, etc we will be just one - that seems pretty exciting to me

I can understand that - for some the moment of Death on the Earth plane is one of great excitement they have completed one task - and now on to the next one

well whistler i will jump off topic for just a minute here but that brings up and interesting discussion I was having the other night.
Having had a peak into the jaws of death , I asked my friends all of whom had been on the operating table for a number of reasons, what effect Freemasonry had on their perception of life and then death. were they afraid to die. Each siad 'No' they were not afraid of death.
We all agreed that the becoming a master mason had made quite an impact on that particular aspect of life, one which had not been equaled by attending Church or indeed in their differing faiths outside the accepted Church.

and for some becoming a Master Mason just was another example of something they already knew
