" I have a much deeper appreciation for what the deacons of a lodge might represent now."
Now I have often considered the similarity between the two large statues holding wands in Tutankhamen's Tomb and the Deacons in a Craft Lodge.

Hi Lauderdale
Interesting isn't it.
I read a book written by a seer once who said that the large statues you find all over Egypt were not just fanciful representations, but rather the artists attempt to present the actual size of some who occupied that area in those days. Which sounds all rather silly until you remember the biblical statement that "there were giants in the Earth in those days".

>the ones u read about are mostly negative experiances,
Actually a lot of skills are carried over from one life to the next. If those skills are no longer relevant to society they appear as hobbies actualy i was refering to alien abduction experiances, as in maat's story. You would probably think I was nuts if I told you that an apparition that I took to be somewhat higher on the evolutionary scale to me told me reincarnation was so, so I won't tell you that, however, I have a much deeper appreciation for what the deacons of a lodge might represent now. i would know better then to think u crasy. but the thing is: how do you know that this is the whole story? from my own experiace, and studying the extreme end of the spectrum as reported by others i have to conclude that what your talking about must be akin to an adult explaining nuclear physics to a small child. our physical reality based understanding of things is far to limited to see the truth for what it is and understand it properly. anyways i think the reincarnation model might be lacking, due to the large number of people who are the reincarnation of julias ceasar. i think perhaps a more flexible model might be the jungian thing with the archetypes. in any case i would stress that what we have are not even realy theories, they are merely attempts at making a story that works for the purpose of making sense out of a particular set of information. and i would caution against getting to attached to one particular model, as sooner or later information will come along that will force change to or replacement of the model.

Obviously there are many fanciful readings.
There is however a complication in that the nature spirits attached to the chakras tend to get recycled in families as well as souls
And some of the nature spirits are easier to recognise than souls when they operate at lower frequencies.
Thus the a variety of intelligences may be reincarnated from the one human

It is more that my model of a human has more parts (intelligences) that survive death.
Thus much of the subconscious survives death just like the superconscious

One thing that puzzles me with reincarnation is the huge human population growth on this planet. We can't all be reincarnated souls can we?

I think that not all are reincarnated. The majority here are new souls, hence the abborant behaviour we see today.

As opposed to the abhorant behaviour of the past?

As opposed to the abhorant behaviour of the past? There are more of us here to act abhorantly. We have always been rather violent apes.

In the Hindu tradition there are 64 billion human souls. There must be a bit of a queue for bodies
