I thought it might be beneficial for all to start a collection of parallels between cultures.
Perhaps in studying some of these, we come up with a few exciting discoveries .. or ideas that prompt us to seek further.
I, for one am really keen to see what is posted on this thread

Huna is Universal " Today Huna is largely associated with some of the Hawaiian islands, although Huna is not Hawaiian. For example, the esoteric knowledge is found in Aotearoa-New Zealand, Easter Island, Tahiti, Samoa and other parts of Polynesia. The similarities of language all over Polynesia indicate that it goes back to a 'continent of light' - or Lemuria. The knowledge is so great, it cannot be restricted by nation, although Polynesian Huna is the purest form of the old teaching. Yet there are many similarities in the languages of Morocco and Ancient Egypt as Max Freedom Long pointed out, and other languages too. So to those who say "why is a non-Hawaiian teaching Huna?" my reply is not only that Huna is universal knowledge, but that knowledge was traditionally passed down according to readiness, not race. This is to ensure only the people who are ready to know, will know and the knowledge will not be abused. Discrimination on grounds of race was unknown.
