I think it were better if several months minimum were required in between degrees. The lessons to be learned are too subtle to rush through. Some (not all) mianstream lodges tend to want to get one to MM so they can begin collecting dues, I suppose. And Brothers in the Appendant bodies start trying to push one toward AASR and York. My Lodge Secretary told me to ignore them, and work through the Blue Lodge offices first, and I think that wise advice.
sbs59: Can someone help me with this question. I was a Master Mason for 4 years until last year. My father died and i left the Masons as i was depressed about his death. Can i now re join a lodge?

The Ancient: sbs59: Were you suspended for non payment of dues? if so, square up and petition the lodge for a restatement vote. If your dues are current, your still a member. In this case, it is all about the Benjamins.
