Both were great and prolific writers/thinkers. And I have my favorite, who is yours?

I'm with delux! There should have been an option of neither!
If I had to choose it would have to be Wilmshurst as at least he was actually a Mason.
Waite is better and there are so many others that are neglected by modern Masons.

I'm with delux as well, but out of the three of them I would have to say Austin Osman Spare. Non-Masonic but pivotal just the same.

I may be old-frashioned, but I am a big fan of Carl Claudy, though someone should have asked him to write in shorter paragraphs.

So am I Brother letterorhalveit3 He offers clear and accessible insights into the Craft and when he does present esoteric points of view, he does so with the same accessibility. His writing style seems like someone that you would like to have sat in Lodge with and had coffee with after and talked about Masonry. And it seems there is very little to do with Masonry that he didnt at least touch on. Definitely my favorite.

Lursananius! Now we're talking! An utterly brilliant Adept! It's very hard to find his texts, but if you ever stumble across any of them in a rare book collection, do yourself a favour!

He's so deep. I hope someone prints his material, yet he's nearly forgotten.

He's so deep. I hope someone prints his material, yet he's nearly forgotten. With the growing popularity of Lursananius' various works in some smaller esoteric/scientific circles, one would think they would be available for download.

It's possible the work that Etidorhpa was based upon is involved as well.

Lursananius? I'm not familiar. Picking a favorite writer is extremely difficult, as it changes quite easily. I'll pick Borges for now.
