Secret Mysteries of America’s Beginnings - Volume III The Eye of the Phoenix - Secrets of the One Dollar Bill This is Part 3 of the acclaimed documentary series. Sadly, the ethos gradually shifts from the first two instalments. It seems very well researched at first, but then takes a nasty turn and ends up leaving a bad aftertaste. I'd be curious to hear your comments. Preview here: tinyurl.com/bbqwok

Its just more fuel for the conspiracy nuts. I haven't seen the documentary but am familiar with the content. Whether the symbols are true or not the theory is always spun as propaganda for the NWO wacko's.

What's most disappointing is that parts 1 and 2 in the series were not like this at all.

just finished watching this and i agree. very disappointing. i liked the first two, and have written about them in this very forum. they had a little tint of the typical paranoid documentary stuff but it was tolerable. this one was WAY over the top. by the last hour it was just a total tailspin of crackpot and fundamentalist blabber. two thumbs down.
very recently on History Channel was a different documentary with an almost identical title and was much better than this. worth checking out as i think its still airing.

I'll check that one out. well, i actually just watched it all the way through again and i'm not sure i'd recommend it anymore. it's nearly as goofy as the other one. only good part is it's not as long.

ROFL That's TV for you. Now you know why I banished it from my house three years ago. Not only was it a liberating act at the time, but I haven't looked back ever since! ;D One thing I have seen and found interesting and worth recommending (even though the aesthetic production values are a bit iffy) is a DVD documentary series called The Great Work. There are some really interesting speakers there, the best being Lon Milo Duquette and Georgia Lambert. Very insightful for everybody, and for freemasons too. Also worthwhile is Lon Milo Duquette's video entitled Qabalah for the Rest of Us, where both the content and the production values are top notch, though being a single DVD it is, of course, shorter.
