Bro Architekt
You have brought up a very fair comment and question. This question actually divides the Moderators as well!!
Having instigated the Poll to ascertain the preference of our membership I would have no hesitation in instigating another one if there is enough call for it!
I have always been very proud that this Forum attracts more members of Co-masonry and other Forms of alternative to mainstream masonry than any other board, you would however be mistaken in thinking that the membership is far more weighted to that way than the other. Our whole structure is geared to welcome masons of every possible distinction and whilst that in itself supports your view, 18 months ago, the majority including a lot of Co-masons voted to keep the board. Our Moderators consist of 4 UGLE Masons and 3 Co-Masons it seems to work well! As I say if the members wish to change it they are free to leave comment on this thread, if there is enough interest I am more than happy to have another Poll

Yet it is actually the title of this section... co masonic to make me look a bit closer at some of the information I'd come across previously. The other sections apply to all forms of Masonry (my opinion) but this section is for specific questions and such which pertain to other than masculine only Freemasonry. That is, I think this makes it more visible for those seeking, as well as those who did not know it existed. Though I don't post much on many of the forums, I do read most of it. I know I'm not alone. Don't discount the lack of posts for a lack of interest. Look instead at the read count. This is what the 5th post on the subject, yet over 60 reads......

My opinion is now as it was then that there should be no separate board for any "type" of freemasonry. Freemasonry is freemasonry. It is practised by human beings; their gender is irrelevant.
Having said that: I do appreciate the point raised by Bro:. FireMist, which was, if I remember correctly, one of the reasons why the board was maintained -- that it makes it easier for those interested in either co-masonry or female masonry to find relevant information.
