First off, on Sunday, March 15, at 9 pm EDT, Masonic Central will feature Dr. Margaret Jacob, the distinguished professor of History at UCLA, as a very special guest to discuss her books: “The Origins of Freemasonry: Facts and Fictions”, “Living the Enlightenment: Freemasonry and Politics in Eighteenth-Century Europe“, and “The Radical Enlightenment - Pantheists, Freemasons and Republicans”. Additional topics to include: the Paradox of Masonic Secrecy in the 18th Century, Freemasonry in academia, and the role that Freemasonry occupies in the broader study of Civil Society. This is a podcast on the history of Freemasonry that you will not want to miss!
Also, FmI has some exciting articles this week including "Academia and speculation - two sides to the same coin" by Greg Stewart the Masonic Traveler, "No Scheduling Troubles for You!" in the Masonic Tech column, and "The Chronicles of Philosophus" a new series on The Banks of the Euphrates as well as many more.
As always, we invite you to submit your own articles and tell us what you think with your comments. FmI isn't just a Masonic e-zine, its YOUR Masonic e-zine!
omni: In my Lodge the Secretary is a hugh bully along with control issues. if anyone even asks a question he files masonic charges against them. He controls members mostly because they are afraid of him.

The Ancient: To omni: Grow some balls, that lodge is yours as well as every member in that lodge. If you are right, its not your problem. Nobody likes the ugliness of masonic charges. Light will always illuminate darkness, don't be afraid, be a better man.
