I have placed my order. May this be the first book of many on this overlooked subject.

I found out this morning that it's gone live: AmazonBarnes & NobleI imagine it'll be a month or so before it hits Abebooks or Biblio. And, of course, coming soon to a yard sale near you Y'know, for so long as I waited (sent the initial manuscript to the publisher early last fall), it all feels a bit sudden. I don't even have the website up yet. But I will

Ah, now I know it's live, now that it's at your place ;D Now if I could just get the website up. I've owned the domain since January but I didn't start working on it til today and . . . apparently I never set up the hosting (though I paid for it) and that takes 24 hours. So . . . stay tuned

This is great news. I have just placed an order through Amazon.uk, not a bad price; 25 Euros, including delivery. I can't wait to get me hands on it. My wife, too, is eagerly anticipating its arrival.
Congratulations again Bro. Karen and the best of luck with this new book, I am sure it will be resounding success in and outside the Masonic world.

Yup, Bro. Bill runs a kewl store I hear the freemasons run everything. No, not everything, just those things that are important My copy of Bro. Karen's book hasn't arrived yet and I don't expect to for at least a week or so. I am not to concerned as I am sure the wait will be well and truly worth it

I've been interested to hear more about this book too. Has anyone read it yet and can give a review? Is Marie Deraismes mentioned in it? Thanks!

Hi-Hi!! Well, I can assist with the last bit. My book mentions Maria Deraismes only briefly, in the chapter on Helene, Countess Hadik Barkoczy. Deraismes was not an "early" woman Freemason. She comes along in the late 19th Century, which makes her fairly late. My book is about "early" women Freemasons, those made between 1712 to 1876 (the year the Order of Eastern Star ritual was formally adopted). There were many, many women Freemasons who came after that date. Which could be its own book

K, this is so very cool. The September/October edition of the Scottish Rite Journal has a good write up of Bro. John Nagy's "Building Hiram": www.scottishrite.org/ee.php?/journal/articles/book_reviews_nunc_dimittis/I know the author, he's as cool as his book. Now scroll down and you'll see "Haunted Chambers" also received positive press in the Scottish Rite Journal. It is wonderful to be in such good company ;D
