I remember as a kid I use to watch people in Regent's Park in London, this was in the early 70's, when dads and their kids had kites and seem to be having a great time. But I imagine this would be even better fun stuff to do with one's kids these days, and as we have some young ones still left [our youngest, Leo, is almost four, Ivan is five and Aaron is ten, the rest are 14 and almost 16. Anyways, I think I'd like to share such and experience with them....we could learn to fly them together Do you have web address for this "toy"

Leo, This is a good place to start. www.helipal.comThey have lots for building and customizing too! Let me warn you though, once you get into indoor aviation there is no turning back ;D I have started a club here and our website will be up soon. Seriously, it's an addiction. BTW: I have always loved Kites, still do. In California the city I lived in had an "art and wind" festival. I used to compete in the Kite competition every year. Never won but made a good showing for myself. Love and Light,

Thanks for the link. I was only recently looking into possibilities of other things I can do with my kids, we do karate together, play music together.........soon I will be putting up a you tube video of Aaron and Sean playing, Aaron plays lead guitar, for a 10 year old he quite the little genius, so he is, and has only been playing about 9 months. Sean, too, is a fine rhythm and bass player. They'll both be on youtube soon.
Now, this helli craic is something I beleive we'd all like as a family, so will definately look into it.

Just saw the picture. Amazing looking thing, so it is. Do they deliver to Ireland? Helipal ships worldwide that is why I thought it would be a good choice for you. I also know they "burn in" every Heli they sell so you won't get a dud. I work directly with OEM's in HK but that can be really risky. Number one I don't know a thing about Irish Customs and how they are. Number two I would hate for you to order your first Heli and have it be a dud. With Helipal you will pay for shipping but you know you are going to get what you ordered and it will work. Love and Light,

Have you flow this Steve? I have seen it advertise before but I have no hands on time with it. Looks to be very unstable. When you convert it to USD $ it is pretty expensive. BTW: My cat has no care for any of my heli's. Love an Light,

One of the brothers brought his 'remote control helicopter' to lodge and flew it around the dining room. It was a blast, and he crashed it into the ceiling once on its way 'round. I didn't try it, but many others did.

They are a ton of fun. My whole start was with my father -in Law's Micro Mosquito. Boy was that thing a revolution. The first three I bought where all duds and at $60.00 a piece my wife wasn't happy. Then I got a Strom Orb and the rest is history.
Back in CA for the holidays the father-in-laws Mosquito still operated like a top. now I nee another. Not really much directional mobility but quiet as a whisper and a long flying time.

With such an endorsement they have got to be worth considering. Thanks again.

Looks like one could have an enormous craic with this, too. Is it noisy?

Actually, just the dining hall. One brother wanted to use it to collect votes during balloting, but it didn't fly ;D One of the brothers brought his 'remote control helicopter' to lodge and flew it around the dining room. It must be duly Obligated first; how else would we know it wouldn't be secretly recording proceedings and putting it all on YouTube afterwards? Come to think of it, though ... what on earth does a heli take its Obligation on?
