When you put Wicca to the test of the spiritual model, it falls in the category of Passion-based, Right-handed or wisdom path, or the uprising of Kundalini.
This is why the original word wica referred to a male sorcerer or witch. This is a path that is usually reserved for men. This is why women who follow this path are considered possessed by the devil. Most women are rendered insane by these practices. i.e. the witch in the 2nd & 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Those of Protestant Christian faith will be able to relate their beliefs to the treaties of this religion.
This will not go over with the Catholic or Buddhist crowd. The uprising of kundalini is equated to the rising of the devil or undesirable passions. This guys are Grace-based or Left handed path followers. The rising of the sword breaks the chalice and kills the innocence that they are trying to birth into the world. This is why the Catholic faith has condemned Gnostics, Alchemists, and Freemasonry.
The truth is that they both bring benefit to the world. It is time for both sides to see the beauty of the other.
The road runs both ways.

The very best book on Kundalini I personally have ever found is "Kundalini" by Dr Robert Svoboda, the second in the series "Aghora: At The Left Hand of God".
In it I found the information on Kundalini that I consider the single most informative and crucial piece of information concerning the Sacred Serpent Power: that unless one has a God-form all ready and waiting for the Kundalini to "inhabit", the awakened Kundalini will "identify with" one's own limited human personality, causing all kinds of internal ruckus, havoc and mental imbalance. One has only to read Gopi Krishna's account (also called "Kundalini") of having awakened his kundalini without this elementary precaution in place to see how deadly disruptive "kundalini awakening"can be!
By "having a God form ready and waiting", I mean that one should have an established faith in God in some form or other of one's choice while one is attempting to "awaken kundalini"; that God-form will then step in, take over control of the serpent-power and thereby prevent it from causing havoc in one's psyche
. Plus, one's relationship with that God-form will transform into something much more significant than a vague far-away idea that one addresses prayers to; it's just like Crowley said: "I am Thou! and the Pillar is 'stablished in the Void!"

The other way for those on the Virgin Path to control Kundalini is to have a purpose. A purpose designated by God. This is the basic definition of Immaculate Conception.
Once purpose is given, Kundalini rises, giving the person the gumption to get off the couch and do what has been asked of them. It also gives a tenaciousness to stick to the plan regardless of social traditions or laws. (The Virgin Mary’s faith that God will not allow her to be stoned even though she has violated the marital laws of the time. She stuck to her guns and declared God the father of her child.)
If the kundalini is released before a divine purpose is given, all spiritual work is killed. If, and this is a BIG if, the woman recovers, then they must begin from the beginning or “do over.” You can’t burn the candle from both ends and be successful in spiritual endeavors.

Actually, you are saying much the same thing I said, only in a different fashion! It is true that if one's kundalini awakes properly, you will be transformed, and the effects will be seen "outside oneself" i.e. one's relationship with the material world alters radically.
The awakening of kundalini in the approved fashion (that is to say, with the help of a God-form) is also known as "the Knowledge of,and Conversation with, the Holy Guardian Angel"

When you put Wicca to the test of the spiritual model, it falls in the category of Passion-based, Right-handed or wisdom path, or the uprising of Kundalini. Actually, actively pursuing the awakening of the kundalini comes in a "Left handed" form as well. I know this because I was myself 'awakened' through the Left-hand Path, and the man who was responsible turned out to be a member of OTO. I had known him for years through business, and though I knew him for an occultist, he had never told me about this part of his life until the day he asked me if I wanted to be initiated. Of course back in the days when he was selling me occult books, I was loudly denouncing OTO and embracing a branch of Wicca-High Magick (i.e. Qabalah (not "kabbalah")based magick) fusion occultism known as 'Isis-Urania') This is why the original word wica referred to a male sorcerer or witch. This is a path that is usually reserved for men. This is why women who follow this path are considered possessed by the devil. Most women are rendered insane by these practices. i.e. the witch in the 2nd & 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Yes, the reason being that women have their OWN practices that will ultimately yield the same result, since in Sanskrit, the world "vama" means both "Left-hand" and "Woman". A woman undertaking spiritual practices meant for men will certainly come to grief if the process is not undertaken consciously (since masculine archetypes are being awakened by these processes, one must have a good relationship with the masculine in everyday life!) I had to understand this as part of my ongoing Qabalistic meditation on Geburah.
Plus I had the advantage of approaching Tantric methods from both an Eastern and a Western viewpoint. After kundalini was awakened and channeled, I found I could suddenly understand Hindu theology very well, so well, in fact, that I could discuss it with Indian people, even though my actual time spent learning about it was almost nil.. I knew my Qabalistic meditation on Saturn/Binah had culminated when Indians would spontaneously address me as "Mahakali" ("The Black" [Virgin]).Those of Protestant Christian faith will be able to relate their beliefs to the treaties of this religion. This will not go over with the Catholic or Buddhist crowd. The uprising of kundalini is equated to the rising of the devil or undesirable passions. Gurdjieff also denounces Kundalini, as Ouspensky relates in "The Search for the Miraculous". This guys are Grace-based or Left handed path followers. The rising of the sword breaks the chalice and kills the innocence that they are trying to birth into the world. Please explain this passage further, i would be interested to hear about it This is why the Catholic faith has condemned Gnostics, Alchemists, and Freemasonry. Funny, I once was told a story by a wizard apropos of nothing much, that purported to explain why the Church hated Freemasonry:
The stonemasons who built the great cathedrals enjoyed a great deal of leeway in society because, after all, they built the cathedrals! Thus they took advantage of this position to dress and act beyond their station in life, and even to grow beards (something that could actually get you in serious trouble with church/ state at one time.)
This led to the church issuing a "bull" to them demanding they cut their beards and stop wearing furs and in general cease and desist flouting sumptuary and church law. The masons responded that not only would they not cut their beards, but that if the Church did not immediately rescind their bull, the operative Stonemasonic brotherhood would immediately go around to every cathedral they had built and pull the keystones out!
Naturally, the Church was forced to capitulate to their demands, and so ever since then, the Church has sought the downfall of Freemasonry.
That is the story as it was told to me. I have never found any precedent or history of this story, and I have always considered it strange that I even remember it in such detail, having been told it only once..
Possibly this was because my father was a Freemason; I remember looking at the Square and Compass on the envelopes of mail addressed to my father when I would go through the mail, and wonder what it meant. When kundalini arose for the third time and I was initiated into Geburah through Tantric methods, I found out!The truth is that they both bring benefit to the world. It is time for both sides to see the beauty of the other. In Qabalah we study the symbol called "the Tree of Life" This is a glyph drawn with three "pillars", representing Ida Pingala and Sushumna. The whole of Western Hermetic occultism is predicated on the Tree of Life, upon which is often depicted the Poath of the Serpent which ascends all the Paths on the Tree from Tau to Aleph and all from a Western standpoint. I am convinced that it was doing the ritual of the Middle Pillar as part of my Isis Urania training that really turned me in the direction that my Path eventually took, and helped my kundalini "stay on the rails"when it unexpectedly rose in 1995 The road runs both ways. Actually the two Paths encircle a third (Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna); this is the basis of the Hermetic Caduceus, which is about as good a glyph for rising Kundalini as you can find anywhere!

This guys are Grace-based or Left handed path followers. The rising of the sword breaks the chalice and kills the innocence that they are trying to birth into the world. Please explain this passage further, i would be interested to hear about it This understanding is illustrated on my website under “Medusa.” Those who are Grace based form The Grail or Chalice first. Then once the base chakra is penetrated and purpose is given, the water within the cup is turned red by the rising of Kundalini. Water to Wine. This is the essence of the Creative or Virgin Path. If the Kundalini awakens before the cup can be completed and reach the base chakra, then the uprising of the kundalini breaks the cup and destroys all that the student has worked for. The myth of Medusa details this experience.
