An introduction to Co-Freemasonry? Our Lodges in Newtonards near Belfast are opening their doors on 30 April 2011 for an Open Day, including tours of the premises -- reopened after a fire some time ago -- an exhibition, talks and refreshments. Well, we do have a Masonic Ceremony for the Affirmation of Wedding Vows.
We performed it as a Public Ceremony in 2009 and it was absolutely beautiful. It can be performed where at least one of the spouses is a Mason, and can be attended by their relatives. It is one of the oldest ceremonies in use and is an absolute joy to perform and attend.
