I am 27 years old. I petitioned a week ago and still haven't heard a word. When I was leaving after dinner I was speaking with a mason heading in and I told him I just petitioned and I asked him what should I expect next and he said don't expect to hear anything for a couple months. I am anxious for the investigation committee to interview and nervous because I have a criminal history including disorderly conduct at 19 and a domestic battery at 25. The issue at 19 was young an dumb the issue at 25 was a bad patch with my fiancé and we have grow since then have a child and want to grow as a family are happier than ever I have learned a great deal from both experiences but and scared to be rejected because of them any feedback

The investigation process could take several months. If your criminal background would automatically bar you, you should have been told and no one should have signed your petition. I suggest that you contact your petitioner and stay in touch during this period. Ask if there are any public events you can go to. You want the brothers of the lodge to get to know you.
