Someone I know mentioned visiting the Masonic Hall at Faversham. There is a picture of it here, Faversham Masonic Hall. It used to be The Queen Elizabeth Grammar School. No, not that Queen Elizabeth, the old one! It was built in about 1587. Clame! Sauve qui peut!It is the oldest building, I remember reading, being used in England as a Masonic Hall. It doesn't look like it is too far from Faversham Railway Station (I don't drive), so I might try and contact the secretary with a view to visiting. Failing that it is part of the Open House scheme.
