Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee
I would be thankful if anyone can shed some light or interpretations of the above I have a few working theories, however I remain neutral.

As I understand it the Book of Revelation is not by either Saint John but is rather older. Like similar works it has had many self-appointed editors - not all of which were free from political and theological agenda.

Synagogue of Satan : Falseness in self - may I ask what lead you to understand that?

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan The people of Smyrna were spiritually sound, but part of their congregation were Jews who also paid tribute to the Roman emperor. Sardis seems to have had a very similar problem.
