> I'm going to step out of this conversation
I have seen that happen quite often when the conversation gets too close to the central intelligence.

Ok, I think I understand you better.
Hu and Diana have the same sum.
Neith, I can relate more to Neith.
Not intimidated by the conversation. Just thought it was going off topic.
You know, it's a book of the living and not a book of the dead. There are reasons King David and Samuel warned Solomon not to worship the dead. On par with burying the living alive in a box, among other things. Not the same as respecting the dead. People do not live on the sun. It's only part of a bigger picture. There was light before Apophis. Try not splitting the cattle in half. Staring in the "magic mirror" and all you see is yourself is bad for your health.

I think that you are constantly distracted by incoming thoughts. The constant distraction prevents spiritual progress.

(Non-"Mason") I find my own pursuit of knowledge, Christian mysticism mostly, overlaps some Masonic symbolism etc. It leads me to the question is it simply repackaged geometry, mythology, sacred texts, etc. of the ancients with a few new symbols and insights to make it somewhat personal to the "club"? Why is it not for everybody? Is it like the Hiram story of those bad guys who killed him, so they don't deserve to learn? Don't you think if the world was better educated and everybody had more love and compassion and wisdom they would never turn into those guys in the first place? I know history of persecution also, Waldensians, Cathars, Beguines, etc. And I know Masons were persecuted with Jehovah's Witnesses, Jews, etc. during WWII also, so maybe those are the reasons for its "secrecy", but still I wonder if the world would be a much better place if everyone was educated properly with the mystical and sacred science, and to know and understand these things, instead of the fear and mistrust surrounding the mystery, and mostly the apparent secrecy. We all know there is something working behind the scenes, dragging the world into ignorance and to the lowest levels of fear, hate, etc. People don't know exactly who, so I guess it unfairly falls on scapegoats. Jesus teaches that we should be teaching everyone. He said in Matthew 23:13 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let in those who wish to enter." I see this in religion. Men seek positions of exclusive power and authority and prevent people from learning the true meaning. It is said the esoteric schools were stamped out by Rome during early Christianity. So I just wonder, is it simply that, protected and preserved knowledge, and maybe now that everyone has access to it freely, maybe it can help elevate the world and the minds of all humanity? Pardon me are you a freemason? Harmon Weston
