There are a few things that Freemasons do that get on my nerves. I started this thread so as to write them down when they occur to me.
1. At the Festive Board, instead of clapping, some masons bash the table like a good-'un.

Isn't the Scotch Fire a naval tradition? Where all the toasts were (are?) done sitting down. Because lots of jumping to attention in old ship' cabins meant lots of heads banged on low oak beams.
I have to confess I've grown weary of all the Festive Board. Too much false bon-homme, forced laughter at terrible jokes, too much food late at night, when I have to get up early and go to work (some brethren still have day jobs)
omni: In my Lodge the Secretary is a hugh bully along with control issues. if anyone even asks a question he files masonic charges against them. He controls members mostly because they are afraid of him.

foriamhim: To omni: Grow some balls, that lodge is yours as well as every member in that lodge. If you are right, its not your problem. Nobody likes the ugliness of masonic charges. Light will always illuminate darkness, don't be afraid, be a better man.
