It seems to me that Solomon the Great is a straight copy of Suleiman the Magnificent

I respect your consciousness. I felt disheartened the last time you mentioned that. Want to bridge a gap? A new thread possibly called “The similarities of Suleiman and Solomon”. We could start off with your last post. The posts could not be in an VS scenario, just respectful reply’s as we are all tolerant to other beliefs. Curious to see on how you would bring forth.

Which is the earliest version of the Bible in which Solomon appears? This is most easily found by noting when the Canticle of Canticles (Song of Songs) is renamed the Song of Solomon.
See if the renaming coincides with the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent
Notice also that the Rose of Sharon first appears in the KJV - prior to that it was a lily or flower of the field. Who was the most famous concubine of Suleiman the Magnificent? Did Suleiman write poetry for her?

I guess the next question would be, why would the 2nd century have more support to Solomon than the 1st ?
Suleiman the Magnificent ruled 1520?

Post by peter2 on Dec 4, 2018 at 5:31pmYou may be aware that Chronology is an important aspect of history - determining what occurred when. Much of our history seems to be manufactured in the Middle Ages. For example, a year or two ago a Roman statue of a bird was dug up in Britain. It was in such perfect condition that it was thought to be a late reproduction. After a couple of months it was agreed to be actually ancient Roman. The difficulty of course was that it was much too new.
Many years ago in Rome I unconsciously observed the same phenomenon - some of the buildings were much too good condition to be 2000 years old in a climate that freezes.
Fomenko is one of the leading writers on the new chronology.

The first 4 volumes have been translated into English. They are well worth reading. You can find them online if you look around.
I was particularly struck by his computer analysis of the star scenes on the ceilings of ancient Egyptian tombs to find the dates at which the arrangements of planets and stars would have existed. He analyzed the scenes from about 30 tombs and they all dated to our Middle Ages. Damn!
One of the nice things about the new chronology is that it turns out that the dark ages were not dark at all. The dark ages only existed as a defect in the chronology.

Post by foriamhim on Dec 5, 2018 at 12:34pmThe translated fragment is the reading for July 2nd: ‘On the Visitation of Our Lady’ and contains two extracts from Song of Songs, 2:1-4 & 2:10-14 which are as follows:
(1) I am the flower of the field, and the lilies[of the valleys. As the lily among the thorns, so is my love among the daughters. As the apple tree among the trees of the wood so is my beloved among the sons: in his shadow was my desire to sit for his fruit was sweet to my mouth. He brought me into his wine-cellar and his behaviour to me-ward was lovely ...
(10) Behold my beloved said to me: up and haste my love, my dove, my beautiful and come, for now is winter gone and rain departed and past. The flowers appear in our country and the time is come to cut the vines. The voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land. the figtree hath brought forth her figs, and the vine blossoms give a savour. Up, haste my love, my dove, in the holes of the rock and the secret and thy fashion beautiful.
This coincides with Suleiman the Magnificent 1520-1566. The story of the songs of songs attributed to him could have been backlash for the translation in English viewed as western influence. Inserted chaos is is not a unheard of weapon to deflect. History being rewritten in One's image during rule is also not unheard of. I'd like to comment on the star scenes on the ceilings of ancient Egyptian tombs. Time constraints did not allow for. I would also caution, Suleiman the Magnificent was also written at the end of the middle ages.
This aforementioned backlash could be the reason Suleiman was propelled to the status known today. Suleiman would have gained a lot of Hebrew support and bricking up the golden gate would have galvanized that. This would have also reignited the devotion to the prophet Muhammad. Not to mention Ottoman armies in conquering the Christian strongholds.
