There are a lot of Dali fakes around. One expert said that Dali signed 350,000 blank pieces of art paper before he died. Many of the fakes produced on these sheets are clearly quick drawings. This lithograph looks to me like a genuine finished and accomplished Dali work, although I am not an expert.
I am puzzled by the title, though. Dali was a Spanish Catholic and he was pro-Franco.
Wikipedia says:Harsh! The ban was lifted in 1979. Dali died in 1989.
IF the print is Masonic in character it can only be from the viewpoint of an outsider peering in to the tent, rather than that of an inhabitant of the tent peering out.
