Sri Brahadeeswara Lodge (No.150) G.L.India, invites Essays on " The Spirituality in Masonic Teaching" Rules are as follows.

As part of Golden Jubilee, Sri Brahadeeswara Lodge (No.150) Grand Lodge of India is conducting a Global Essay Competition on the Topic “ The Spirituality in Masonic Teachings”
The Rules of the Competition are as follows.
1. The competition is open to all Freemasons of Grand Lodge of India and the Grand Lodges, with whom the Grand Lodge of India is in amity.
2. The topic for the essay is “ THE SPIRITUALITY IN MASONIC TEACHINGS”
3. The essay should be printed on one side of A.4 Sheets with Font Size of 14 and line spacing of 1 ½ lines and 3 Copies should be submitted. The front sheet alone should contain the following information. Name and address of the participant. Name of the Lodge and the Grand Lodge, Telephone or Mobile Number. E Mail Id.
4. The essay should commence from the second sheet. Second and subsequent sheets should not contain any data or material helpful to identify the participant.
5. The length of the essay should not exceed 10,000 words.
6. Bibliography of writings referred to should by attached as an annexure to the essay and the
same will not be included in the calculation of the length of the essay.
7. A certificate from the Secretary of the Lodge vouching the membership of the participant together with the name of the Grand Jurisdiction has to be attached.
8. No entrance fee need to be paid.
9. The entries should be mailed to the following address.

10. The entries should reach on or before 20 th November 2012.
11. The entries will be evaluated by a Selection Committee of three distinguished senior
brethren of the Grand Lodge of India, which will select three essays for the award of
prizes 1 to 3 and Five essays for the award of Certificates of Merit.
12. Prizes and Certificates will be presented at the Golden Jubilee Function on 12 th January 2013, if the awardees are present. In case of their absence, steps will be taken to forward the same to
their respective addresses.
13. The decision of the Selection Committee will be final.
14. The selected essays will be posted in the Masonic website www.masonicpaedia.org and the website of Grand Lodge of India, if so advised.
