Leo This is wonderful news - and long overdue My only slight tinge of regret is that even if I were able to get over there I would be unable to sit in lodge with you but that is purely selfish of me - I wish you both all the very best and a favourable ballot as soon as possible Wayne Thank you Wayne. Your words of support mean more than I could possibly say.

What great news! Leo, you have thought long and hard over the years about which branch would be right for you and your involvement on the various forums have given you plenty of opportunity to make an informed decision. Like Wayne, I regret I will not be able to be at the meeting in person to support you, however, I will be there in spirit.

If we make it to Ireland, I'll see if my wife and I can possibly come up for the event. I think she can visit LDH, even if I can't.

You are right, I have indeed had ample opportunity to make an informed choice and as I said in the end it might have been easy but it has been a few years in coming. So finally we get to this stage. Thanks again for your remarks.

In that case Thomas I imagine it would be the same here, but you'll appreciate I can't say for certain. Cora or Steve would be on the ball when it comes to these things

Cora or Steve would be on the ball when it comes to these things I do believe the Belgian Federation is in fraternal relations with Grand Loge Feminine de Belge, but it's not for me to qualify that -- it's best you ask St Pat's to query that through the appropriate channels. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I am in a position where I have to be extremely careful to respect lodge autonomy.

One down, just Stewart Edwards left to go...... Now that would be news I hope my friend Stewart is well and still enjoying life. I too am absolutely delighted at this great news and look forward both to meeting you and your wife at last and seeing you both being Initiated. Thank you Steve. Likewise. If good people like you could be there for the initiation it would mean more than I could possibly say.

Congratulations Leo,I cannot imagine a candidate being more suitable or better prepared. Thanks Phillip. Not sure about being being better prepared but I will say that one of the things that kept me interested and searching all this time is people like you and others who have shown what it means to be a Mason. I have gained so much by being a part of this forum right from the get-go. I also learned that the anties are extremely misguided and talk rubbish, and that Masons come in all shapes and sizes,,,,,,,,,and of course, genders

Are eligible to attend? If so I would love to see you there. I have it in writing that I may sit in lodge with any BB I so know to be BB, so long as they are willing that I should sit with them. Based on this information, I don't see an issue on my end. However, should I arrive and be barred, I will understand and remain as happy for you and your Lady. For there is, after all, but one canopy of Heaven. All the Brethren, regardless of jurisdiction, already sit together

Wonderful depiction.
I am sure there'd be no trouble going by what you outlined but of course I can't say for certain and here again I would call upon Cora or Steve to offer clarification.
What Cora said earlier might also be the best advice in this instance too. Either way I would really love to see you there as well if at all possible.
