In any historical research it is important to allow for the extra demension. If you can understand there has always been people who receive information from the unseen. Madame Blavatsky Albert Pike Colin Fry Edgar Cayce Pema Chödrön, Annie Besant John Smith T. W. Ratana Jesus The Christ. and more....... When you read works like the Lectures you read in Albert Pike's rewritten Scottish Ritual, it is good to try and understand what they are saying before you knock them, and don't discount the story they tell .
Also If you have an open mind , you are taken immediately back to the thread of "TRUTH"

That's one of the things I like about Bauval & Hancock's Message of the Sphinx. They are quite willing to take on board the channelled thoughts of Edgar Cayce. And why not?

I didn't know that Albert Pike has received information by clairaudience? Where have you read that Whistler? I haven't read it either. He may have when he made the alterations to the ritual. I have read people rubbishing Albert Pike's works. The parts of his works I have read I have been very impressed with. Parts of his works, can not be traced in the manner that scientists prefer. As soon as we open the option of Clairaudience - or some other similar source, we can ignore the claims of rubbish and study the works . It is all about having an open mind It is about understanding that there are many different sources of knowledge.

A propos my mention of Graham Hanthingy earlier, I notice that Atlantis has now been found again. Let's hope they can help any survivors.

Althought my experience with Pike is not extremely extensive....the amount I HAVE read, I've studies pretty hard, and I agree with Whistler that you need to have an open mind about where it's all coming from BUT....from what I have read so far....I view it more as a peacemeal of things from all manner of sources....and it seems to me like you can probably trace most of it to noin-divine sources.
I'd like to note that I don't find his works rubbish at all, but more the exact opposite of rubbish.
