Do you really think that the AASR needs it's own list separate from the General thread?? I think that might be going too far, since then we'd end up having to make special lists for all manner of rites and sections....just my 2 cents

I suppose we could have a "Higher Degrees" section which could encompass Rose Croix, KTs etc, but I can see Lee's point that the Forum could become too fragmented and that if we split the various Degrees and Orders off them we lose the connection between them all that can otherwise be made, compared and contrasted.

I did in fact speak to agent j and atarnaris in th epub on saturday about such topics.
It is possible to password protect boards but i really feel this would make it as steve says too fragmented and in my opinion there is nothingmore annoying than password protection on forums.I can see its function but it would also leave the forum open to antis who would say we have something to hide. It may be better to have an open section on these but if you need to discuss anything unmentionable here then you can always pm or e mail each other for this pourpose.
Other comments and views please.

My vote is for the open forum, with threads under the General discussion, then all can be involved to the limit of their knowledge. After all we should only post generalisations re the secrets, but in depth discussion on that which is permissable. From postings in the past, on another site, I got the impression many Brn. knew little of side/higher degrees, and this must be a great opportunity to "wet their whistles", as there is much to be learned there, let alone keeping the traditions going.
Cheers, Hubert

I quite agree. Bro Taylorsman and others have assisted me in the past with some items I thought may have been too delicate for the forum I initially raised the subject on. In those cases, we corresponded privately. I think that is a more sensible approach, particularly for us junior brethren who may start a topic without realising where it may end up.
