Bod,Sorry I really would love to tell you but you may be worried that they are able to press the button. They have been instrumental and unbelievably helpful with their help in setting up this forum. They have become both very special friends and are true and faithful brothers in every sense. They should not need to moderate ltoo much or in a manner that we have previously known as this is designed to be a very open forum
Please dont feel let dont that yo#i havent disclosed them and by their anonimity.
if they read this and want to tell yoiu then they can PM you.

Staffs
While I respect that your fellow mods may wish to maintain some privacy, I wasn't asking who they were because of fear of anything.
It would be nice to know some background - i.e. UGLE MM? or Co-Masonic, additional orders, etc. Don't want or need to know their vital statistics or owt like that.
I do feel, however, that if they feel they have something to hide then moderator is maybe not he right role for them
Only my opinion tho, and it won't prevent me from posting on this fine forum.
Perhaps I'm just too nosey!! ;D ;D

Bod.no you are not nosey and i can tell you that they are both very very experienced in their field of masonry and are suitably qualified between themselves to deal with the highest ranking mason or anti . i can assure you topics and posts are generally discussed before being deleted. Any offensive posts will be deleted straight away.
I can assure you this forum is in safe qualified hands .

Like Level I too wish to remain separate as a Moderator from my persona as an Ordinary poster.
In answer to the question my background is from Traditional Male Only Freemasonry, but I recognise ALL the various types of Freemasonry, Women Only and Co-Masonry too.

On another Forum in which I on rare occasions contribute, the Moderators actually have on principle decided to each remain anonymous, save that we know that they are also members of the community.
They have been given sole option to have another account to their IP-address, in order for this to occur. It has also meant that they have been able to post as members without being read as though they are somehow more knowledgeable about the subject then other members.
There are both advantages, and disadvantages, to maintaining anonymity with respect to moderation...

Hi, It's great to hear these various comments about Mods, but in the End the site will stand or fall on how they go about their business. (hence the situation with TFM).
But having said that we are all now at the best place we can be. As with Male only and CoMasonry each can choose to visit whatever pleases them most.
I look forward to meaningful discussion to the topic, and if someone wishes to wander off topic let them open a new field. That way you know you will always be communicating and digesting an issue of relevance.
Presumably the Mods could advise/direct posters to relevant fields if they tend to wander, or even open up such a new posting on their behalf.
Cheers, Hubert.
