Brethren,
How about a meet up for as many as can attend on Saturday 14th May in London. I have a meeting of a Morning Lodge - Meridian (no dining) - then perhaps we can meet up for a couple of hours in the Pillars opposite Freemasons` Hall at 1pm. You are all welcome to attend the meeting of Meridian as well.
Anyone up for it?

Possibly, I have an appointment with my Doctor at 9.30am but that would not prevent me for attending the meet at the Pillars assuming I don't have any meetings that day .
Andrew, as you still have no Craft Lodge and wish to join one when why not Brixton 1949? Meets 4 Saturdays a year at Clerkenwell. Taylors Ritual, a very enjoyable Festive Board and some old fat Scots chappie as their Tyler.

Unfortunately I have a Chapter meeting in Southgate on that day, but it's an excellent suggestion and I'll definitely meet up with more of you in the future.

Had it not have been for the fact that we are going to a Ladies Night that evening I would have tried to persuade She Who Must Be Obeyed that she wanted to go shopping in London
Never mind - maybe another time

All,
What about the week after the 21st May, will this date be any better. Although I do not have a meeting in the Morning. Staffs, we are working an Installation on the 14th May.

I may be able to make it, depending on the Home front, might even suggest that the family meet me afterwards, so that we can do a bit of shopping. Andrew regarding not having a lodge, that is an excellent suggestion from Taylorsman, my friends also meet at Clekenwell four times a year on saturdays, Paxton Lodge, which is a similar number to Brixton.

Arranging a day to suit everyone would be a near miracle especially as the summer weather approaches.
this event really needs a designated event organiser (Volunteer Please) and a confirmed date.
This event as suggested could also be repeated on a quarterly basis.
It would however be nice tio go to a morning meeting with no dining and then off to the Pub

Lee, I think you are quite correct, no matter how many times we change the date some will be unable to attend. In my own case to book a weekend off takes quite a bit of doing so why don't we just settle on a date preferably when there is a meeting before hand, I'm sure invitations would not be too difficult to obtain? And see how it goes, I am sure that with a meet every three or four months most will at some point be able to make it
And for those who for various reasons are unable to go to the meeting we can gather at a suitable establishment after.
For me the 21st would be better but if we can firm up on one date it give time to try for a day off.

Michael,you are correct.
I am attending a Wedding on the 21st but would be happy to meet up at the next quarterley date:
maybe we could call this event :
THE MASONIC FORUM OF LIGHT QUARTERLY COMMUNICATIONS
NOW ; Who is volunteering to be event organiser ?

As Gnostic initially suggested the 14th May I think we should have that as our first meeting. I am quite happy to act as co-ordinater but will require advice from those in the London area, in particular arranging the invitations to the Lodge meeting. Also help in finding accommodation for those like myself who will be over-nighting.
As suggested by Steve 'The Pillar's would seem to be the place to meet, and one o'clock the time.

Not that my cabletow is too short, but I'm up in Kirkcaldy on the 7th May so to head of down south the following week would be a bit of a headache literally, (my wife packs a mean punch ;D), I would however hope to join you all sometime, if this is a regular thing

I like the idea of us all meeting up at a mutually convenient date. But with all our committments I feel that it will be impossible on certain days. Bearing in mind holidays, shift cycles, etc. Unfortunately on the 14 May I will be attending a 50th Anniversary celibrations of a lodge that was domiciled in the Middle East. I may well be asked to give a talk. Therefore I feel that we should have a suite of dates, at a particular venue, perhaps starting in London first, and then moving it around the country. So next in Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Durham, Edinburgh, etc. This will hopefully ensure an equal sharing out of all the travelling. Distance is a big thing, and we should be reasonable about this issue. What I have suggested is only an example, so what do we all think? Proton
