Just realised that I made a promise that I can't keep - at 9pm I will be in the dojo. But through my exhaustion I will try to remember to mentally wish you well at that approximate time (I will not know the exact time).

Tonight is turning out to be an evening of learning lessons. I am here, so I will raise a glass at 9 after all.
It is funny how you learn lessons through the everyday activities of your life. One of the things that makes life so special.

Yes, I am now a Mark Master mason in The Duke of Richmond Lodge no 1025.
It was a really lovely ceremony and nothing like i had imagined and it really is very friendly apart from that one little bit .
Also it was great to see Middlepillar again who was there to witness my advancement and i am sure Chris will also agreee that what a great meal it was even though he was lacking some space at the table.
Also got to have a chat with Taylorsman in the bar who was at the installtion meeting of his Mother Lodge.
A great evening with great company and great food and thank you to everyone for all your good wishes and kind thoughts.

Lee
It was a great pleasure to be at you Advancement, you have joined a very friendly and hard working Lodge, and youshould look forward to hearing the Lecture on the Mark Degree at your next meeting because unfortunatley it is not done often enough.
The Food was excellent, and the fact that they squeezes 6 fat B..t..ds! like us on a sprig of One table was in itself quite remarkable! I certainly managed to get to know your proposer as well as if he was carrying out Dental work on me which he does for a living!
Anyway I have been visiting Lodges for umpteenth years and it is the first time I have had a Curry at the festive board. It was really great.
It was also good to see Taylorsman again, but I must apologise for not meeting afterwards by the time it got to ten o'clock I had to get on the road! I hope you had a good meeting T.
And yes Lee did indeed Mark Well!

Yes alas our FB ran on a bit as had the Ceremony. I feel that this was a case where they could have cut down on the Wine Takings, for example that to "Past Mayors of Brighton and Hove" and also some of the later Toasts, especially after the Deputy PGM and his retenue had gone. Still, it was a first class Ceremony. I can't really comment on the new caterers as I feel the menu chosen did not do justice to their capabilities. I will see what is to be served in the later meetings this year.
I did briefly see Lee and as he had all the same attributes that he had possessed earlier I assume he "Marked Well".
