Great news cora, you will love it! Ohhhh, you will Cora, you will!!! He-he-he -- thanks Robbie. It's funny -- I saw you come on board as a profane only months ago, and already you are in a position to tell me this ... strange world, eh? ;D But yeah -- I have no doubt that I will truly, deeply enjoy the ceremony and ensuing work. ;D

I wish I could have taken longer to go through but I made mention of taking my time and was frowned at.

Not to worry, Bro. Robbie. We are *all* EAs for the whole of our Masonic careers. I agree with you, it is better to take the time (frowns be damned) but I know of no brother of a higher degree who has told me s/he got it all while they were in a prior degree. Indeed, many is the Brother, older than me in the Craft, who tells me every time s/he sees an initiation or passing, s/he sees something s/he didn't see before. And that daily progress in Masonry is essential. So, perhaps, shall it be for you And my condolences to you and your's on the passing of Chloe.

Not to worry, Bro. Robbie. We are *all* EAs for the whole of our Masonic careers. Very true - but I am always surprised at how many brethren seem to miss this very important point I agree with you, it is better to take the time (frowns be damned) but I know of no brother of a higher degree who has told me s/he got it all while they were in a prior degree. I certainly didn't - it took me a very long time to start to appreciate the significance of the FC degree for example (and I emphasise the start" because I suspect I have a long way to go to grasp its full importance) Indeed, many is the Brother, older than me in the Craft, who tells me every time s/he sees an initiation or passing, s/he sees something s/he didn't see before. And that daily progress in Masonry is essential. So, perhaps, shall it be for you I certainly see something different just about every time I see a degree - often just the slightest difference in emphasis can suddenly spark off a new train of thought Wayne

I can't wait to be initiated ... A day in this life yet to come hey Playto, I do remember that bouncing-ball-off-all-the-walls time that seemed to go by soooooo slow in the months prior to my initiation. I'll pass onto you the advice I was given: Try to use this as a time of quiet contemplation and meditation. Uh, not that I did (couldn't even approach this until after the vote and I knew, for certain, they would accept me) but I pass it on, not withstanding You won't have to wait long. Right now it seems like a long time but, later, it won't

Be thankful of the time you have had more than me. Oh I am; very much so. I hope you didn't take my comment as a snide remark? There are certain circumstances in which one may be called upon to progress as fast as may be required, but I am of the opinion that this should always be the individual's choice, and indeed in those circumstances it only *can* be the individual's choice. In all other cases: to hell with frowns, even if they should be on Very Illustrious faces! But I am lucky. In my Federation, it is the candidate who dictates the pace -- s/he must *ask* to be progressed. I quite like it that way. So sorry to hear about your dog, by the way -- hurts like hell to lose a companion like that. S&F, Cora

Congrats and well done CoraB Please tell me how long it took from your last to now? Thanks Playto:-) It'll be a year since my Passing, and 18 months since my Initiation. ;D Ah, I remember the feeling well ... took me 8 months from application to initiation; a very valuable time. Use it well! Cora
