Yes. Steve: never say never, James Bond teaches... This is true. Many of my former girl friends initially fell for me because I use to turn up at discos in a tuxedo ;D

Penfold, try to reduce the words' format a little bit Hi Gio, are you talking about the title in the current masthead? I increased their size, because the golden S&C called a lot attention to itself, and I felt the lettering should be strengthened to macth. This is something that can quite easily be remedied, though. Perhaps there's a middle ground. Thomas EDIT: Okay, smaller lettering, with a darker, less "fresh" outline.

I like simplicity, and the current one has that. The only other change I would suggest - to reflect Masonry universal, is to have on the right-hand side the Square and Compasses only, without the 'G' that our constitution, amongst others, does not include as part of the symbol (though always included in the centre of the Lodge). To see what I mean, check www.freemasonsvic.net.au/

It will always be the same story.whatever you do will not be to everyones preference.
i think it is most kind of you to help out in the first instance anyway and am personally very grateful and humbled by your assistance.

NO! NO! NO! To me the S&Q without the "G" is meaningless, just another Logo. Please can we have a bit of stability on this matter now. The new Masthead seems to satisfy most people, I have given up on the Pillars.
Can we thank Munkholt and Penfold, leave it alone and move on? Lee, you are the Originator of this Forum , can I ask you to use your Executive Authority and finalise the matter?

The 'G' was something that Taylorsman voiced expressly as a positive with the original, so that's why I kept it.
And Staffs: my pleasure.

There was once a stagecoach travelling through the night with two old ladies in it, as well as two male passengers. As the coach set off one of the ladies asked for the window to be opened as she was suffocating from lack of air, the other lady spoke up and said that if the window was opened she would choke from the dust and the cold. this argument went on for some time until one of the men in the carriage spoke up and said 'Leave it half open - that way we'll get rid of them both'
You will never please everyone, keep what the majority are happy with and put an end to it.
