As an avatar or as a photo? Ah, never mind, I'll do both. Let's say you want to post an image into your post. First, you get the image's URL. Let's use this one: i39.photobucket.com/albums/e161/theMightyK/MFOLandUSavatar.jpgK, you paste it into the post, as above, and then you highlight it like this: Next, click on the insert image icon above the emoticons: When you do this, your url will now look like this (please note the img tags on either end of the url): And when you post it, will appear in your post like this: And avatar is a bit different, though the concept is the same. You will, again, need an avatar. Let's use mine. Again ;D The url for my avatar, which is stored at photobucket, looks like this: i39.photobucket.com/albums/e161/theMightyK/MFOLandUSavatar.jpgCopy the url for your avatar. Now go to the main forum page and, toward the upper right, click "Profile" In the next window, click "Modify Profile": In the next window, scroll down and paste the url into the appropriate box: Scroll to the bottom and click "Modify Profile" Now your avatar will appear in all your posts, including those already posted. I hope all that helps

Have you got to the point where you have the url where the image is hosted such as www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid191/p0be267f5dc75844014948b30b30e6fa0/f1e2645c.jpgIf yes, copy it and paste it into your post (as above) then put [i*mg] at the beginning and [/i*mg] at the end, like this [i*mg]http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid191/p0be267f5dc75844014948b30b30e6fa0/f1e2645c.jpg[/i*mg] but without the *s and it will do this

Hi Sean, welcome to the forum. I note you've just joined us so are not fully up to how things work around here. No worries at this stage, but its best not to use an existing thread to ask questions on completely unrelated matters as you run the risk of having your post and any responses to it removed without explanation. If you have any comments or questions you’d like to pose [but can't find a thread already covering them] simply start one yourself. Mind you, when doing so try placing them in the correct section. If in doubt start the topic in any section you feel is OK and if necessary one of the mods will move it to a more appropriate place. I appreciate it sounds a bit complicated, but trust me it isn’t and in no time you’ll get the hang of things. Once again welcome to the forum.
