Hello Brethren,
I just began reading the above titled book and I am really enjoying it.Zain is able to give his own interpretation of the symbolism behind Masonry and I must confess lots of what I've read so far answers tons of questions I've always had.
I am very much interested in the esoteric part of Masonry and as such would like to read recommended books similar to that of CC Zain(Ancient Masonry).
Does any body have any recommendations on Esoteric interpretations of the Ritual?
Thanks

Hi Enyi
I love CC Zain also. A wealth of information to be had when reading his work.
Check out the following threads, some of which include the links to a free read of what he has to say..
Two Crossed Keys Riding the Goat Are Ancient Gods Concealed in Masonry The 21 Brotherhood of Light Courses of Lessons
Maat Yes- there are quite a few esoteric masons as members...

You may wish to learn dowsing and then apply that to the temple before and after a ceremony.
When you get more skilled you can dowse during the ceremony by putting your attention to parts of the ritual
In that way you may penetrate some of the hidden mysteries of nature and (Masonic) science and develop your own esoteric interpretation and experiments
The role of the Thurifer in the LDH (Co-Masonic) ritual is particularly interesting from a dowsing perspective

A local occult stockist (and that really is a rare find in the East End of Glasgow) showed me a copy of the aforesaid book. She wasn't prepared to part with it, which ought to tell me something - though what, I'm not exactly sure. I flicked through it, and found it to be a very interesting book. Probably vastly more interesting had I no background in the Craft whatever, but interesting nonetheless.
However, and I appreciate I'm about to get pelters from Br. Russell inter alia, I didn't find it at all well-informed. It wasn't just that all the Masonic items were given bizarrely esoteric explanations - what else would anyone expect of this kind of book? - but that a lot of them were given explanations clearly not grounded in anything like the actual facts.
It was only a skim-read, so I'll apologise for being a bit under-referential with my textual irks, but I still would like to read it properly and maybe take a look at other stuff by this author.

It is available FREE on this site. Go find it. The Search function should turn it up for you.

Like AMORC, The BROTHERHOOD OF LIGHT, C C ZAIN, is very watered down, similar to the SOL, and FLO.
M P Hall, Eliphas Levi, Albert Pike, W. Wynn Wescott have much more serious scholarship behind their works.
