I don't know what many of you think of the very vague prophecys of the French Seer known as Nostradamus.
I have been studying many works, over the past 4 weeks, reading more than one authors interpetation of his Quatrains. I do agree that many of them are open to various interpations, but I picked up something on what he called the 3rd Anti-Christ.
It is generally thought that Napolean was the first, either Hitler or Stalin were the second (although some argue that Stalin was the third), and he was very vague about the third.
I cross referenced the Quatrains against the Book of Revelations, which deals with Armaggedon and the Rise of the Beast, known as the Anti-Christ.
It struck me that both are very similar. I thought that perhaps Nostradamus may have been influenced by the Book.
I actually meditated for a few hours on this and concluded that I should maybe use a Scrying Technique, similar to the one that Nostradamus, himself used.
After several attempts I began to picture fussy images in my bowl of water so I thought that practice was needed.
Imagine my suprise that after a few days of practice I was able to see clear images, sort of like dreams.
Now, I was offered advice on how to use the scrying technique a few days later and on my first attempt I saw one of the most frightening images I have ever imagined.
I have not tried this again as I got a bit of a fright to be honest.
So my question is, can the images in scrying be influenced by what the person has read or been told?

Hi Willied
Your consciousness system when impacted by an incoming energy attempts some sort of pattern matching in order to generate images that can be expressed through the brain.
If the incoming energy does not find a close match in the person's library of images and experiences then the match is commonly made on qualities (love, fear etc) rather than forms (places, bodies etc)
If a person has an inner sponsor then that sponsor may well ensure the person has access to suitable images before experiencing new energies. An example of this is reading about something new a few days before having a related vision
Now the difficulty with the scrying is to know whether you are looking out through your scrying device or whether some being is projecting an image into the device.
In other words are you looking or are you being programmed?
So there is need for some protocol or ability to ensure that only suitable (or no) beings transmit programming to the scrying device
Cheers

So basically what you see can be influenced by outside forces, or inside ones.
So am I correct in writing, that for the person scrying, they would need to develop some sort of 'barrier' to deflect the unwanted influences away from them?
Could the same barrier technique used to protect yourself during meditation be used?

There are endless examples of psychic practices e.g. seances, that resulted in the medium suffering some sort of dark interference
Generally a barrier is not the preferred form of defense in the sense that the process of erecting and maintaining the barrier may be faulty or not work as intended.
It is better to have some inner planes sponsor keeping an eye on the viewer
Even better if the viewer is sufficiently pure not to resonate with disturbing forces
Essentially barriers separate the viewer from the flow of Oneness on the levels on which the barrier is operating.
Separation, ultimately, is not desirable

Back to tyling the lodge?
Is it sufficient to rely on the Lord's Prayer or some such for protection... asking God the Father for protection?
If a person is not 'psychic' how can they know for sure that they have suitable protection for adventuring into the unseen world. It is easy enough to ask for sponsorshop but how do you perceive the answer?

>how can they know for sure that they have suitable protection
I would not advise scrying unless in the company of some experienced metaphysicist or perhaps a well-grounded meditation group
>I have not tried this again as I got a bit of a fright to be honest.
A good strategy

Bro Ruff, what type of French is that, quite old I would think. It is necessary to replace some of the S with a circumflex.
I can make sense of it though.

Quite new, I'm afraid. It's my best fakey Old French, and it runs something like
Jack and Jill went up the hill To fetch a roll of cheese. Jack then falls, and breaks his b---s While Jill saw Judas Priest
With apologies to Judge Dread. The Judas Priest is the heavy metal band of the same name, whose album and eponymous track Nostradamus I had to listen to ten times in a row at my nephew's recent 21st.
The reference to Century VII, Q. lviii is also hokey, as Nostradamus' seventh book from its 58th quatrain has never been found.

Bro Ruff, try this. Not Idiomatic and not Medieval but seems to say it.
Jacques et Jill sont montées la colline Aller chercher un rouleau de fromage. Mettez à niveau des chutes alors, et casse ses balles Pendant que Jill a vu le Prêtre Judas
